White Sox wear ridiculous pants

While August 8th marked the 36th anniversary of the Chicago White Sox wearing these ugly shorts in the first game of a doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals in 1976, the current SouthSiders team committed a fashion faux pas on Sunday when they decided to all wear absurd looking pants as they hit the team plane to embark on an eight-game road trip to Baltimore and Detroit. Check out the video above.
First baseman Paul Konerko, who donned a bright pink polo shirt with white and blue checkered pants and a fedora said, "I just went with the opposite of what I normally do."
I don't know if we're exactly pulling it off, but we're trying," said left hander Chris Sale
Manager Robin Ventura said, "they enjoyed it a lot more that I thought they would."
The White Sox will be looking for their seventh straight win when they send the recently acquired Francisco Liriano to the mound to face Wei-Yin Chen and the O's on Monday night.
