Cincinnati Reds outfielder Chris Heisey hit an inside-the-park homerun in the bottom of the second inning in Friday nights Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates game. Heisey drops a quick smile as the Reds third base coach Mark Berry waves him home. It was a bang bang play at home, but home plate umpire Bob Davidson called Heisey safe. The Reds won the game 3-0 and increased their National League Central division lead to 4.5 games over the Pirates. The two teams meet again Saturday at 7:10 PM ET as the Pirates James McDonald (10-5, 3.38 ERA) heads to the mound against the Reds Mike Leake (4-7, 4.44 ERA).
