Mets Unveil 2013 All-Star Game Logo

The New York Mets organization, including Jeff Wilpon, Tim Brosnan, Patti Harris, David Wright, Johan Santana and RA Dickey, unveiled the logo for the 2013 MLB All-Star game today at Citifield.

"The city of New York's been great in putting this together," Mets owner Jeff Wilpon said at the press conference. "It wouldn't happen without all those people coming together, working with us and awarding this game to Citi Field. I think to showcase this ballpark next year is going to be a big thing."

2013 will be the first time the Mets have hosted the ASG since 1964, which was their inaugural season at Shea Stadium.  Next year's Mid-Summer classic will take place on July 16 at Citi Field, it will be interesting to see how many of the Amazin's make the National League squad.
