Oriole get 1st win on same day as dad

Check out this awesome coincidence. 23 years later, on the same date of his father Dave Johnson's first Major League win, Orioles righty Steve Johnson won his first Major League start against the Mariners on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old rookie gave up two runs on five hits and struck out nine over six inning as the O's swept Seattle in a three-game series.

Dave Johnson won his first Major League game on August 8, 1989. During his five-year career in the Majors, Dave went 22-25 in 77 games while making 57 starts.
