Amare to Train with Hakeem Olajuwon

12 time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA Champion Hakeem Olajuwon will work with New York Knicks power forward Amare Stoudemire later this summer.  Reports on the internet Wednesday stated that Olajuwon will fly to New York in August to train with Stoudemire.  Amare has often looked out of place in the Knicks offense under both coaches Mike D'Antoni and Mike Woodson since the Knicks acquired small forward Carmelo Anthony in Febuary 2011.  Stoudemire is found roaming the perimeter and settling for long jump shots.  Stoudemire has never been known for his back to the basket low post moves, and his training with Olajuwon could signal a more defined role on offense for Amare in Mike Woodsen's system.  Hopefully The Dream will also enforce the importance of rebounding and blocking shots!  In the above video, Hakeem explains that his signature Dream Shake low post move is actually derived from playing soccer.  Olajuwon in recent years has privately trained three of the NBA's best players Koybe Bryant (2009), Dwight Howard (2010), and LeBron James (2011).
