Before Kevin Durant there was Devin Durrant

Here's a little know fact for you: Back in before OKC Thunder superstar Kevin Durant was born in 1988, there was a dorky, white, Mormon dude ballin' in the NBA whose name was Devin Durrant. He had 80's dorky, white, Mormon swag for days.

Devin was from Provo, Utah and played his college ball at BYU from 1978-1984, with two seasons in the middle of his collegiate career taken off to go on his Mormon Mission.

The O.G. gangsta Durrant was drafted in the second round by the Indiana Pacers in the 1984 Draft, and averaged 5 points in 59 games his rookie year. He played just four games the next season with the Suns before taking his game overseas to play professionally in Spain and France.

Let’s hope no kid asks for a Kevin Durant rookie card for a Christmas and gets a Devin Durrant one instead.

Long live Devin Durrant!

Is Kevin Durant aware of Devin Durrant's existence?
