Four men who were on their way to the Alabama - Ole Miss game survived a plane crash this past Saturday and amazingly still were able to make the opening kickoff. The men who started their journey from Fairhope, Alabama in a Cessna 421 small plane planned to stop in Selma, Alabama for some Barbecue food. 20 miles before the airport, the plane was losing altitude and crash landed at 100 mph. The four men and the pilot all survived the crash. One of the men was quoted as saying "we can still make the game at 8:30, we're not bleeding!" The four college football fans caught a ride and then rented a car and drove to Tuscaloosa. The men, three of them Alabama fans, and one an Auburn fan made the opening kickoff and were able to watch #1 ranked Alabama defeat Ole Miss 33-14.
