UNC LB Suspended 1 Game for Cheap Shot

UNC linebacker Shakeel Rashad was suspended by the ACC for the apparent cheap shot in the video above on Duke's wide receiver Conner Vernon.  Vernon who is Duke's all-time receiving leader was in his wide receiver position when Rashad was running onto the field for a substitution.  The head linesman Tyrone Davis and side judge Angie Bartis were also suspended by the ACC “for failure to adhere to correct mechanics of the game and rules related to player safety."
