Yankees Social Media Department - Arrogant?

As the Yankees clinched their 17th playoff appearance in last 18 years, their social media team has hit the internet hard and arrogantly.

We have all seen the above photo sent out by the Yankees, of Joba the Hut pouring champaign on a terrified Ichiro. Classic, yet odd.

Does it really, really need it? This is not food we are talking about. The Yankee Social Media department seems to be having a tough time distinguishing between needs and wants. Is it me or is Robby Thomson showing Joe Girardi how he gave it to his wife the night before with hand gestures? The old finger in the hole trick.

Come on now.. Talk about arrogant! I know they have 3 times as many World Series titles as the next MLB franchise, but this is just over the top.

The fucking scent of October? Because the Yankees have made the playoffs for the 10 millionth time, does it mean the whole month smells like them? What does a Yankee smell like? I would think it smells like a mix of money and body odor. Yuk. Who the hell would want to smell like that?

Boy, its good to be a Yankee fan.
