The New York Yankee jersey that pitcher Don Larsen wore in 1956 when he pitched the only perfect game in World Series history is going up on the auction block. Larsen is selling the jersey to pay for his grandsons' education. The NY Post quoted Larsen talking about the sale of the jersey on Monday. "What am I going to do with it? I don't want to be dead when it's up for sale. I've been thinking about it. I'm not getting any younger and I want to see my [two] grandkids graduate from college and maybe there'll be something left over." Steiner Sports will be the auctioneers, with the bidding to begin this Thursday and end on December 5th. Click HERE for the NY Post story.
