Kobe debuts his new mismatched Nikes
Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 5:46AM
In a move not seen since Tracy McGrady rocked one red sneaker and one blue sneaker in the 2004 NBA All-Star Game, Kobe Bryant hit the court for the Lakers' first preseason game with one purple and one gold sneaker against the Warriors on Sunday as The Black Mamba debuted his brand new Nike Zoom Kobe 7.
The kicks have been dubbed the "Snake Pools" and have opposite colorways on each foot, resulting in a mirror-like image. They will go on sale on Nov. 2 and will cost $140.00 a pair.
Kobe scored 10 points in 18 minutes as Golden State topped Los Angeles, 110-83, in the exhibition opener which was played in Fresno, Calif.
