The Rangers wore their grey road jersey on Thursday afternoon, as they fell to the Orioles 6-5. Then it was time for the nightcap, in which the Rangers would sport their blue jerseys. However, rookie reliever Robbie Ross didn't get the memo. Check out the video above as the lefty warms up in the visitors' bullpen in the bottom of the 8th while sporting the a grey jersey. Rangers righty Mike Adams pitched his way out of a jam in the 8th and Ross was not called upon to pitch in the game. The Rangers won Game 2 of the double-dip, 7-3, as Josh Hamilton continued to rake at Camden Yards hitting his 6th home of the series and 15th of the year.
Thursday wasn't Ross' first unfortunate wardrobe incident this year. As the youngest member of the bullpen, he has been seen sporting a cowboy hat and a sheriff's vest while riding a toy pony, as he’s been given the duty of carrying the in-game snacks in a pink "Cowgirl" backpack.
