Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 9:38PM
With Wimbledon underway this week, the Women's Tennis Association Announced on Tuesday that it plans to crackdown on women tennis players that grunt and shout when they hit the ball. Tennis umpires will have a hand-held device that will measure a players sound level. The WTA's player council and members of the International Tennis Federation and the four major grand-slam tennis events approved the grunt reduction move this June at a meeting in Paris, France. But have no worries Maria Sharapova grunting fans, WTA officals determined it would be unfair to enforce the rule on today's current WTA players. No eta was given for introducing the sound devices or what noise level will be a violation. Grunt on ladies!!!
