Joe Paterno Statue To Be Removed ASAP

Multiple news sources have reported that the President of Penn State has ordered the removal of the much maligned Joe Paterno statue. There has been public uproar about the statue since a university investigation conducted by former FBI Director Louis Freeh alleged that the all time wins leading coach covered up the actions by convicted child molester Jerry Sanducky. One person even went so far to hire an airplane to display a sign that read "take the statue down or we will" to fly over campus last week.

Police and construction workers have barricaded the statue and put up a cover, which will prevent the public from viewing the construction that is to take place. Standing at nearly 7 feet tall and weighing more than 900 pounds, the statue will most likely be taken down at a fraction of the time that it took to be erected.
