*The above slideshow has the top 10 hottest female Olympians by our expert estimates, here is the full list (to see more photos, click on the name or the photo):

Honorable Mention: Marta Menegatti, Italy (Volleyball); Francesca Piccinini, Italy (Volleyball), Catalina Ponor, Romania (Gymnastics); Milagros Cabral, Dominican Republic (Volleyball); Carmelita Jeter, USA (Track & Field).

#25 - Fabiana Murer, Brazil (Pole Vault) - She may be the best in the world at pole vaulting and she comes in at number 25 on our list.  This Brazilian babe has catapulted her way to the London Olympics, by winning gold at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.

#24 - Elsa Baquerizo McMillan, Spain (Beach Volleyball) - This 25 year old beach volleyball hottie was born in New York, but will be representing Spain in the 2012 Olympics.  She and her partner Liliana Fernandez will be spiking balls on London sand going for the gold.

#23 - Brianne Theisen, Canada (Track & Field) – This 23 year old Saskatchewan native is representing Canada in the Heptathlon in London.  She attended the University of Oregon where she broke a number of school records, winning back to back NCAA heptathlon titles in 2009 and 2010.

#22 – Tatiana Ariza, Uruguay (Soccer) – Attends Austin Peay State University, where she earned the honor of OVC Freshman of the Year scoring 10 goals as their striker.  She was born on Feb 21, 1991 and has an identical twin sister Natalia also plays for Austin Peay.

#21 - Rachel Yurkovich, USA (Javelin) – Our second University of Oregon Duck on the list!  This 26 year old “Nike” girl is a 3 time USA Outdoor runner-up and 2 time NCAA champ.  She posed for the 2010 ESPN body magazine, which is top almost as impressive as her tossing skills.

#20 - Christina Vukicevic, Norway (Track & Field) - Born 18 June 1987, Christina is a Norwegian hurdler of Serbian and Norwegian descent.   She is Norway’s best shot at earning a medal in hurdling.

#19 - Eloise Amberger, Australia (Synchro) – this 25 year old Brisbane native started synchronized swimming when she was 11 years old and is part of the national team set to compete in the London games.   Along with her partner Sarah Bombell (Who almost made this list), have their sights on improving on their 7th place finish at the 2008 games in Beijing.

#18 - Caroline Wozniacki, Denmark (Tennis) – Currently the 8th ranked tennis player in the world (she was once #1).  You have seen her bouncing around the world with her golfer boyfriend Rory McIlroy pushing her collection of underwear.  That’s right, UNDERWEAR.  A real contender to take the tennis gold in London, but she did not take home the Beer Mug hot chick gold.

#17- Allyson Felix, USA (Track & Field) – 26 year old smoking hot Allyson Felix is on a mission to win the 200 meter gold metal.  After winning the silver in Beijing, the California native has been working feverishly to grab that elusive gold.  One of the fastest and hottest girls on the US team, she is very easy to root for.

#16 - Paola Espinosa, Mexico (Diving) – One of the best in the world on the 10m platform, Paola Espinosa has a very good shot at earning a second Olympic medal this summer.  She can contort her body more ways than you can imagine, which makes her a must watch when she works the board.

#15 - Jessica Ennis, UK (Track & Field) – The world #1 ranked heptathlete for the past 3 years.  Born and raised in Sheffield, England, this beauty has the hearts of her nation and a lot of pressure on her back to deliver the gold for the host country.

#14 - Lolo Jones, USA (Track & Field) – The 29 year old US virgin barely made the US track and field team, but since she did we get to see her compete one last time.  I hope she finds a good man in the Olympic village this time to set her right.

#13 - Sydney Leroux, USA (Soccer) – Sydney is the up and coming star of the US women’s national soccer team and a true hottie.  She scored 5 goals in her first international game and is set to strut her stuff for the worlds #1 ranked women’s soccer team.

#12 - Serena Williams, USA (Tennis) – If you don’t know by now, there is something wrong with you.  Serena is one of the greatest female tennis players of all time and a certified hottie.  Nothing in these games comes close to her bangin’ bootie.

#11 - Luciana Aymar, Argentina (Field Hockey) –  This Argentine field hockey midfielder is the only player to receive the International Hockey Federation World Player of the Year award seven times.   The greatness she has achieved in her sport has her countrymen comparing her to their national soccer hero, Diego Maradona.  One thing is for sure, she doesn’t look like Diego.

#10 - Elisa Di Francisca, Italy (Fencing) – Elisa is one of the best fencers in the world.  She won the gold medal in the 2010 Senior World Championships.  This 29 year old is on a path to do well in London, while giving us a reason to watch fencing.

#9 - Sophie Polkamp, Netherlands (Field Hockey) – A gold medal winner on the 2008 Dutch field hockey Olympic team, she is set to help her country defend their title.  To be honest I have never watched field hockey before, but I will be tuning in for sure this year to check Sophie's fineness out.

#8 - Maria Sharapova, Russia (Tennis) –  Currently the worlds #3 tennis player, she has 27 career titles and 4 grand slam victories (recently completing the GRAND SLAM by winning the French Open).  This beauty is set to make her Olympic debut in London and should be a strong contender for a gold accessory.

#7 - Alex Morgan, USA (Soccer) – California born and raised, Alex Morgan is a UCLA stunner.  She is a forward for Seattle Sounders Womenand member of the US Women's National Team where she was the youngest player on the USA's roster at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup.

#6 - Stephanie Rice, Australia (Swimming) –Stephanie isn’t just a smoking hot chick, she holds the world record in the 400 m women's individual medley, and won three gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.  She recently tweeted a very sexy shot of herself, but that is par for the course for this one – her Mug Shots is utterly fantastic.

#5 - Hanna-Maria Seppala, Finland (Swimming) – Hanna-Maria started swimming at age 5 and made the Finnish national junior team by age 10.  She has yet to earn an Olympic medal, but she has been fun to watch while trying.  This 27 year old Fin will be in the pool for 3 events, so check her out.

#4 - Ana Ivanovic, Serbia (Tennis) – Former world #1 tennis player Ana Ivanovic will represent Serbia in the London games.  Known for her aggressive style of play and excellent fashion sense, she is a fan favorite on the WTA tour.

#3 - Victoria Pendleton, UK (Cycling) –  Olympic gold medal winning sprinter Victoria Pendleton is going to rock out in her home turf London games.  She hot, has 9 world titles under her belt and is going to have the home fans rooting for her, sounds like a must watch to me.  This is a fine bronze medal showing for this sexy home turf favorite.

#2 - Daniela Hantuchova, Slovakia (Tennis) – This recent ESPN bodies issue participant is 5” 11” and smoking hot.  She was ranked as high as 5th on the WTA ranking and has 5 titles under her belt.   While she is a long shot to medal, she will be fun to watch while she lasts in the competition. Meanwhile, she has won The Mug’s Hotness Silver Medal for the 2012 Olympics.

#1 - Leryn Franco, Paraguay (Javelin) - We have said it before and we will say it again, Leryn Franco is the hottest sportswoman in the world. She is still handling the javelin 30, not scoring medals but scoring guy fans all over the world.  She was the runner up to the Miss Universo Paraguay 2006 contest, but she is the winner of our hottest 2012 London Olympic GOLD!
