Trevor Bauer's rap song is just AWFUL

D-backs pitching prospect Trevor Bauer is highly touted on the mound, but as a rapper, well, lets just say he -- sucks.

The 21-year-old from Santa Clarita, California is part of a rap duo called "Consummate 4sight" with one of his high-school buddies. Listen to their song "Diamond in the Rough" above as the fellas take you into their world, where growing up was "rough."

This has Malibu's Most Wanted written all over it! One can only wonder how Bauer ever made it out of the struggle to reach the point where he is "gold now" and "shining like a 24 carrot diamond ring for your boo." This could possibly be the worst attempt at rapping ever by a pro athlete ever. It's so bad it makes Shaq rappin' with Fu-Schnickens seem Grammy worthy.

After surviving his "rough" upbringing, Bauer went on to star at UCLA, where he may or may not have majored in street cred. One thing that is known, is that he had a great college career, leading the Bruins to the 2010 College World Series and winning the 2011 Golden Spikes Award for being the top college player in the country. He was then selected No. 3 overall in the 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

Bauer made his Major League debut on June 28th against the Braves and was so pleased with throwing a strike for his first pitch, he decided to save the ball. The only problem was, he threw it to the Atlanta dugout instead of his own (See video below). Pretty smooth move playa, but you might wanna slow your roll. I don't think Cooperstown will be looking for that ball anytime soon.

Bauer went 1-2 with a 6.04 ERA in four starts before the D-backs Sent him back to Triple-A Reno last week. Reno then announced on Wednesday that they would shut Bauer down for a couple of starts to let him regroup. It’s a hard-knock life right? I'm sure Bauer learned that on the streets of Santa Clarita.

Watch Bauer's gaffe after his first pitch above.

Would B-Rad of Mailbu's Most Wanted approve of Bauer and his homie?
