America's swimming champion, Ryan Lochte, rocked a red, white and blue grill following a gold medal finish in the 400 IM on Saturday night (Michael Phelps placed 3rd). His plan to wear it on the big stage was cut short by the IOC official who informed Lochte that wearing the grill would result in a failure to receive the most precious bling of all. Apparently, Lochte was only rocking the grill to honor ancient Olympians who used to also wear jewlwey in their mouths. Personally, I think he did it to cause a "HEY! LOOK AT ME! I BEAT PHELPS!!" type of buzz. Take the grill out bro, you ain't Paul Wall.
