Denard Span Makes Flying Grab At The Wall

Minnesota Twins centerfielder Denard Span made an amazing catch at the wall in left-center to rob Alex Rios of a possible home run in the fifth inning of last nights game.  Span has been spoken of in recent trade rumors, and this catch may just push a buyer to pull the trigger. 

When asked about the catch Span said, "I made the catch, and I think the fans appreciated it more once they saw the replay, just for them to clap and go as loud as they did for that amount of time -- that was pretty special."

The Twins won the game 7-6 on a Jamey Carroll walk off sacrifice fly in the ninth inning.  Great evening for Twinkie fans.
