Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 5:48AM
Carey Rottman, a survivor of the Aurora movie theater shooting, threw out the first pitch before the Rockies faced on the Brewers on Monday at Coors Field. Rottman, who fittingly is a Coors Distributing Co. employee has been on the road to recovery since being shot in the leg on July 20. The 27-year-old is expected to return to his job soon.
The Rockies topped Milwaukee, 9-6, in the first game of a three-game series. Second baseman DJ LeMahieu led the charge for Colorado, going 4-for-4 with two RBIs.

Rottman received a visit from The Dark Knight Rises star Christian Bale while in the hospital.
