Notre Dame Unveils New "Shamrock" Uniforms

Adidas and the University of Notre Dame unveiled the 2nd edition of the TECHFIT "Shamrock Series" football uniforms yesterday. The Fighting Irish will wear these uniforms when they host the University of Miami on Oct. 6 at Soldier Field, which is about 100 miles away from their South Bend campus.
Notre Dame arguably has the most iconic uniforms in all of college sports, but this is a far cry from their traditional blue and gold gear.
It is cool that they are trying to mix things up for the fans, since the team hasn't been so good as of late. But ultimately, it is a good thing they are only going to wear these uni's for one game, because these duds are the opposite of the class that the blue and gold usually represents.
