Arizona Diamondbacks rookie third baseman Ryan Wheeler hit his first career major league home run on Saturday night in the 7th inning of the Diamondbacks 12-4 victory over the Houston Astros. Upon entering the dugout with a big smile on his face, Wheeler is congratulated by no one! The tradition of the silent treatment after a MLB players first career home run is on. Wheeler high fives nothing but air, taps his batting helmet on the top of the dugout, and is ignored by teammate Aaron Hill while putting his batting helmet away. Even the Diamondbacks bat boy is in on it, although he was smiling throughout the entire prank. Finally after 40 seconds and what probably seemed a lot longer to Wheeler, his teammates mob him on the bench in the dugout to congratulate him.
