Chipper Jones in huge collision at home plate 


In the bottom of the fourth inning of the Atlanta Braves - Philadelphia Phillies game on Friday night, Chipper Jones attempted to score from second base an a Paul Janish single to center field. Phillies center fielder John Mayberry Jr. throws a strike to catcher Erik Kratz, who is the absolutely laid out by Chipper Jones in a collision at home plate.  Amazingly Kratz was ale to hold onto the ball, and Jones was called out on the play at home plate. The Phillies won the game 8-5 in 10 innings.
