You're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of ODDS!
1.) Andrew Luck
Luck is coming off a big game against Minnesota in which he went 20/31 with 224 passing yards, 2 TDS, 0 INT and this week he gets to sling passes over the worst team in the league. Luck should up his stats vs the Jaguars, so if you don't own a top tier QB- START LUCK!
2.) Alfred Morris
I'm usually skeptical about Mike Shanahan RBs, but Morris has established himself as a must start in most fantasy leagues. He's taking 99% of the carries and having success doing it. He padded 89 rushing yards to his stats in week 2 and this would have been a triple digit game for him if RG3 wasn't dancing all around the field. Your ONLY concern as a fantasy owner with Morris at this point is losing touch downs to a scrabbling QB.
3.) If Vincent Jackson is ruled out on Sunday, START Dante Rosario
Most sources are telling fantasy owners to sit this guy because his 3 TD week was a fluke and Phillip Rivers is unlikely to put Dante in that position again not to mention Vincent Jackson may return. So, if you're in need of a tight end, waiver claim Dante and pay attention to news regarding Vincent Jackson's injury. Do not be surprised if Rivers in fact does give him another shot at a week's fame. Don't expect Atlanta to get 3 interceptions in the first quarter again, it's going to be a shootout partners so grab your weapons.
4.) Martellus Bennett
Martellus Bennett has made himself famous in NY with 10 targets in week 2 from Eli and a touchdown in two consecutive Sundays. Martellus heads into week 3 ranked #2 out of all TEs. It should be a "given" to start him, but if he's on your bench wise up.
1.) Michael Turner
Turner got booked on Monday night for a DUI. He was hammered while driving 90 something on a 60 something speed limit. Turner is unlikely to see any punishment from the league, but likely to sit on the sidelines next Sunday to watch Jacquiz take his starting job. The Falcons haven't released any useful press report yet, but chance of Turner getting into the endzone or putting up a high yardage game on Sunday is improbable.
2.) Chris Johnson
For those heavily involved in fantasy just know that CJ is blowing balls right now. He's the laughing stock of the league. A 6 year old with his shoes tied together and down syndrome could of padded more yards per carry than him. CJ is putting up an embarrassing .4 yards per carry on like 20 total yards and he has the audacity to blame the Titan's offensive for his unsuccessful attempts. His comments alone should put him on a one way road to your bench. Don't get me wrong, the offensive line could have something to do with it, but when you're running @ .4/carry you shouldn't be running your mouth to the media. That kind of mindset juts shows CJ rather blame his o-line then hit the weight room/practice field.
SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT CJ. I can't tell you enough.
3.) Robert Meachem
If you haven't noticed by now, Floyd is still the ace and will continue to be. A consistent fantasy success from Meachem seems out of reachem. Maybe he'll have a few good games, but he doesn't seem to be favored by Rivers in the redzone.
4.) Justin Blackmon
Blackmon is FULL of talent, but Jacksonville just sucks. Blaine Gabbert isn't the formula to Jax's success so until they get a new QB sit Blackmon, even if he gets in a few good weeks.
Advice: wait until he has a breakout week then trade him.
