New NCAA Division-I Passing Record Set

Old Dominion Monarchs quarterback Taylor Heinicke set the NCAA Division-I record for passing yards in a single game on Saturday by torching the New Hampshire Wildcats for 730 yards. Heinickie completed 55 of 79 passes and threw for five touchdowns with no interceptions. Heinicke broke Houston Cougars David Klingler's record of 716 passing yards, which Klingler set in 1990. The Monarchs won their game over New Hampshire 64-61.
