Miroslav Klose Takes Down Own "Hand Goal"

3 minutes in to Lazio's match against Napoli at the San Paolo in Naples, striker Miroslav Klose scored off a corner kick with an apparent header to put his team up 1-0. While his teammates celebrated the goal, Klose decided to come clean to the referee that he had hit the ball with his hand, not his head. The referee correctly disallowed the goal, prompting the the Napoli players to pat Klose on this back to show their appreciation for his good sportsmanship. In a league where the players "flop" like pancakes at any contact, is is nice to see someone do the right thing for a change. Napoli went on the beat Lazio 3-0, and they currently share the top of the Serie A table with Juve.
