Ryan Roberts debuts custom batting gloves

Check out the video above as Rays infielder Ryan Roberts shows off his custom-made batting gloves to MLB.com at the team's Spring Training camp in Port Charlotte, Fla. on Monday.
We've seen the Nike Pro Combat football gloves that form the team's logo before in college and in the NFL, but not in baseball batting glove form yet. Roberts said "a guy made them in Dallas" especially for him.
Roberts went 1-2 with a two-run double in Tampa Bay's 6-3 win over the Red Sox on Monday in Spring Training action. "Tat-man" as he is called, played 60 games for the Rays last season after being acquired in a trade from the D-backs in July.

These's no doubt the Nike's Pro Combat football gloves influenced Roberts' new batting gloves.
