17-year-old girl throws B.P. to the Rays

Seventeen-year-old Chelsea Baker of Plant City, Fla. has earned the moniker of "Knuckleball Princess" for good reason.

Watch as Baker shows off her bread-and-butter pitch against the Rays at Monday's batting practice at Tropicana Field before Tampa Bay hosted the Pirates.

Baker, who pitches on the boy's team at Durant High School, was invited to toss b.p. by Rays manager Joe Maddon and faced the likes of Evan Longoria, David Price and Jose Molina.

Baker was taught the knuckler as a kid by none other than the late Joe Niekro, who was her Little League coach. The Pirates went on to top the Rays, 8-1.
