If You Own An IPhone Or Android And Have The Draw Something App Than You Will Understand How Cool These Pictures Are

Dude, I can barely make a proportional stick figure on this application let alone have someone guess what I'm actually trying to draw. It's hard to comprehend how in the world these guys were able to drag their fingers across their smart phones to make such a clear picture of Jeremy Lin and Michael Jordan. To many of you these pictures may seem like your normal everyday cartoonish photos, but to anyone who has ever toyed around with the draw something app you know these pictures took true skill to make.

What is Draw Something? The Draw Something app is basically Pictionary (or isketch) for smart phones. You and another person go back and forth guessing each others drawings. Each time a drawing is guessed correctly, coins are dispersed to both ends. The coins are used to buy perks, such as a new color set. This app is currently #2 in the most downloaded apps of 2012 category, with high hopes to beat out the immensely popular game Angry Birds.

Rosamund Pike; Andromeda from "Wrath of The Titans" is Super Hot

Rosamund Pike is set to star as Andromeda in next weekend's "Wrath of The Titans," the sequel to "Clash of the Titans."   To be brutally honest, I don't remember of ever hearing of the former "Bond Girl" before - so as I noticed her, I figured she was worth a post to share with my boys out there.  

This 33 year old, London actress is super hot and I am looking forward to checking out the movie to see how she handles the big swords.

Tiger Woods Finally Won Again.. First Time Since 2009

Tiger Woods won his first PGA Tour victory since his infamous sex scandal at the end of 2009, in which a dozen or so women came out as having an affair with the golf king. Woods closed his victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational with a 2-under 70 for a five-shot win over Graeme McDowell.

Seems like the prince of golf may be back.  With the Masters only two weeks away, it will be fun to watch if he can play well enough to pull one more major closer to the King - Jack Nicklaus.

 

Knicks place picture of Larry O'Brien Trophy above every Locker

Every New York Knick players locker at Madison Square Garden now has a picture of the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy above it.  As Tyson Chandler explains in the above video clip, Knicks manager of player security "Big" Max Cayard thought it would be a good idea if Chandler broke out his NBA Championship ring that he won with the Dallas Mavericks last year.  “He told me to bring my ring out today.  And I’m guessing he talked to somebody and put the trophies up.”  Knicks foward Carmelo Anthony who has failed to reach at least 20 points in his last seven straight games finds the championship trophy pictures above his locker motivational.  “They’re inspiring.  It’s motivating just to see that. It gives us something to look up to, look forward to and we know where we want to be at. A lot of work that we want to do to get there.”  The Knicks have posted a 6-1 record since Mike D'Antoni "resigned" and Mike Woodson has taken over as the head coach.

Scoop Jardine's Tearful Exit from Syracuse

Syracuse point guard Scoop Jardine broke down when talking to reporters after Saturday's 77-70 loss to Ohio State in the NCAA Tournaments East Regional Finals.  Jardine told the media that he "thinks we (Syracuse) the best team in the country, for real!"  Scoop was reduced to tears when he was interviewed by SNY which is a local New York sports TV station.  In the clip, which you can view HERE; Jardine is reduced to tears as he is faced with the reality that he has played his last game for the Orangeman.  The good news for Jardine is that he is dating Michael Jordan's daughter Jasmine who is a freshamn at the Cuse.  With Jordan being the Charlotte Bobcats owner, maybe Scoop will land on the Bobcats next year.

Trayvon Martin Story (ABC news) - "Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old Florida high school student, is found shot and killed, in Sanford, Fla., a community north of Orlando.

Several eyewitnesses report to police that they heard a scuffle, then a cry for help, and then a gunshot.

According to the Sanford police report, George Zimmerman, 28, a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain, is found armed with a handgun, standing over Martin. He has a bloody nose and a wound in the back of his head.

Martin is unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. He has no weapons on him, only a pack of Skittles and a bottle of iced tea.

Zimmerman tells police he killed Martin in self defense. Taking him at his word, police do not arrest him, nor administer a drug or alcohol test. They also did not run a background check."

Jason Smith Gets An Odd Standing Ovation After Knocking Blake Griffin The F**k Out With A Football Style Hit

Wow not going to lie, I expected more out the Hornet fans. I know this happened a few days ago, but I just can't get over the crowd's reaction while Blake is gasping for air. How can you cheer on Jason Smith after he lowered his shoulder and drilled Blake Griffin with a Ray Lewis style hit causing him to crash on the court? The fans didn't even wait for Blake to rise to his knees before they went wild cheering for Jason Smith like the officials were throwing out beads. Don't those idiots understand that their ticket price was as expensive as it was merely because of Blake Griffin? So, yeah, go ahead and cheer on Smith for ruining the live Griffin dunk that you all paid your hard earned money to see.  Hornets ended up winning 97-90.

Student Gets Banned from Prom because his date is a porn star

WTF!!!  Way to ruin every fucken high school guys dream.  18 year old Tartan High School senior Mike Stone sent out 600 tweets to porn stars inviting them to be his prom date.  One responded yes!!!  19-year-old Megan Piper who is pictured above accepted Stone's invitation on Twitter stating "If you can get me there, then yes."  Awesome right?  Wrong, the needle dick administration of Tartan High School which is based in Minnesota banned Stone from the prom!!!  Mike is planning on having his own prom a few blocks away at the same time as his school prom.  Here is what I am asking you Beer Mug Sports readers.  Call and email the principal of this shit bag of a high school and ask him why he has to CB Mike Stone.

Someone Please Pay Matt Forte - We Expect A Hold Out.

Matt Forte went off a bit on Twitter after it was announced that the Bears had signed Michael Bush to a four-year, $14-million contract (with $7 million guaranteed).  Forte, who has been placed under the franchise tag, is set to make $7.74 million in 2012, which is a $7 million dollar raise from last year! 

If I was Forte I would be pissed as well.  He is arguably a top 5 NFL running back, but he has yet to receive a long term contract.  With the life span of NFL backs being very short, he has reason to be concerned. That being said, expect Matt Forte to hold out of camp in an attempt to get the long term deal he deserves, just like Chris Johnson did last year.  

If the Bears were smart, they would just pay the guy his worth and quit with all of the games. 

On a side note,  Bears 2011 back up runner Marion Barber retired today.  Marion is best known for this amazing face plant after an attempted flip.  What a dick.

Former No. 1 MLB pick Matt Bush arrested for hit and run DUI

Rays reliever Matt Bush, who was the first overall pick in the 2004 MLB Draft was arrested on Thursday evening in Port Charlotte, Fla., for his alleged role in a hit and run accident.

According to a report by the local NBC affiliate, the 26-year-old Bush was drunk when his SUV crashed into a 72-year-old man on a motorcycle. Bush then attempted to flee the scene. The man was wearing a helmet, but was seriously injured.

"Literally the tire on the SUV ran over the driver's head," witness Scott Sugden told NBC 2 in Fort Myers, Fla. "Without the helmet, the gentleman would have been dead instantly."

Bush was the top pick by the San Diego Padres in 2004 as a shortstop, but he ran into a lot of trouble since then with several run-ins with the law for alcohol-related offenses. He was arrested and suspended by the Padres in 2004 after he got into a bar fight in Arizona.  He seemed destine to be titled a bust for the rest of his life, but he converted to a relief pitcher in 2007 and tried to revive his career, only to then have to undergo Tommy John surgery.

In February 2009, Bush was arrested for assault in another alcohol-related incident and the Padres then traded to the Blue Jays, but Tornoto released him two months later after he violated the team's zero-tolerance policy. Then in June 2009, he was busted for driving drunk, resisting arrest and vandalism after he was videotaped in an altercation with the cops.

The Rays gave Bush yet another chance in January, 2010. He pitched 13 2/3 innings in the Minors in that year, then 50 1/3 innings in 36 relief appearances in 2011 in Double-A. He went 5-3 with a 4.83 ERA with 77 strikeouts and 24 walks.

Bush tossed 4 2/3 scoreless innings for the Rays this spring before Tampa sent him down to the Minors on Sunday.

Bush had plenty of chances to change, and for a while, it looked like he might do so. Now he'll forever be known as a troubled bust. Just like fellow former No. 1 pick Brien Taylor.

Madison Square Garden is cashing in on Linsanity.  Garden management approached Coca-Cola about having courtside signs in Chinese at the worlds most famous arena.  Coke reached an agreement with MSG and you will soon see signs like the one above during New York Knicks games.  Knicks president Scott O'Neil told the NY Post "These ads will provide exceptional branding for Coke and be an open business sign for MSG that will be scene arond the world.  We continue to be amazed and appreciate the response that Jeremy and the Knicks receive from fans around the country during our games and globally across our digital platforms and TV."
