Manchester United of the English Premier League is the most valuable franchise in sports, valued by Forbes at $2.23 billion. Malcom Glazer who also owns the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers (#29 on the list valued at $981 million), also holds controlling stakes in The Red Devils.
The top 10 list contains four European soccer teams, four NFL teams, and two MLB teams.
